VALERIAN TINCTURE VALENTIS, oral drops solution

Valerianae tinctura

Valerian contains essential oils (pinene, camphene, borneol), alkaloids (valerin, chatinin and other), glycosides, tannin agents, calcium, manganese, enzymes. These substances decrease excitability of central nervous system, relieve spasms of smooth muscles, normalize excitation and inhibition of CNS.

Preparation is used for mild sedative effect and for psychical tension relief.

Use:

Always take Valerian tincture Valentis exactly as stated in this lealfet ir your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Oral use. Adulst and children over 12 should use 15 – 20 drops 3 – 4 times per day before meal.

If you have the impression that the effect of Valerian tincture is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.


Do not take Valerian tincture Valentis:

  • Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any ingredient of this medicinal preparation;
  • Preparations of valerian, as well as valerian tincture, are contraindicated if CNS suppression is increased, mental and physical working capacity is reduced.


Take special care with Valerian tincture Valentis:

  • A big dose can cause drowsiness.
  • This preparation should not be taken by children, because it contains alcohol.

If symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks or situation gets worth, consult Your doctor. Since there is not enough experience in use, this product is not advised in children under 12.
